Deshmukh Bungalow, Nashik
Deshmukh Bungalow is a family home on the outskirts of Nashik. Originally a 4 bedroom house, it has been retrofitted into a 3 bedroom one to incorporate the clients’ other requirements.
The house is designed with a minimalist tone to it. Instead of adding more elements, the nature of the materials used to finish the insides have been focused on to create the entire ambience.
An individual’s visual and tactile journey through the house is emphasized by the Vertical Wall.
The walls and ceilings take a grey color to keep the tones monochromatic making the wooden furniture elements stand out. This entire palette has been chosen keeping locally available materials in mind.
